Neurotic development in Daseinsanalysis and analytical psychology is fundamentally related to disturbance in realization of human nature. Human being is characterized, according to Daseinsanalysis and analytical psychology, by the realization of its own nature. As it were, human being consists in disclosure of its own nature. It is designated as ¢¥Existieren¢¥ in Daseinsanalysis and as ¢¥Individuieren¢¥ in analytical psychology.
Accordingly, neurosis in Daseinsanalysis results from an interference with ¢¥Existieren¢¥, while in analytical psychology it comes from a hindrance to ¢¥Individuieren¢¥.
However, ¢¥Existieren¢¥ and ¢¥Individuieren¢¥ are not different in meaning. Thus, it may be concluded that Daseinsanalysis and analytical psycho-logy stand on the same attitude and orientation in mechanism of neurotic development.
